Kim Lehrman has more than 25 years of experience representing clients in federal court. Her work often involves representing clients who have experienced one or more hardships such as unemployment, medical catastrophes, or loss of a spouse. She has learned that providing empathetic counsel and ensuring that her clients were heard, is as important as her knowledge of the law and dispensing legal advice. Ms. Lehrman brings a trauma-informed approach to speaking with survivors of sexual abuse who seek representation. She works with crime victims to ensure that they are heard and that they are safe. She is a Certified Trauma-Informed Legal Professional.
Ms. Lehrman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University where she was a student in the School of Hotel Administration. She graduated from Brooklyn Law School. Ms. Lehrman was admitted to practice in Florida in 1998. She is a member of the Florida Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of Florida, and the United States Supreme Court.
